If you stop birth control pills, the will of the skin condition melasma go away?
I have a condition skin, melasma, that makes these dark spots appear on the front. I'm pretty sure they're of my birth control pills. If I stop birth control, melasma is go?
You are right that the pill tends to bring out the melasma. Stopping the pill will stop the pill's worsening problem and may even be some slight discoloration. However, the pigment is not fully disappear by itself. You may need treatment with topical bleaching agents, shells, or even as laser devices, if it bothers you enough.
