What control pill are more likely to cause melasma? Yaz or Ortho Tri Cyclen LO?
Outside these two birth control ... YAZ (3 mg of drospirenone and 20 mcg of ethinyl estradiol per pill) or Ortho Tri Cyclen LO (Phase 1: 0.18 mg of norgestimate and 25 mcg of ethinyl estradiol (a type of estrogen) per pill Phase 2: 0.215 mg of norgestimate and 25 mcg of ethinyl estradiol per pill Phase 3: 25 mg of norgestimate and 25 mcg of ethinyl estradiol per pill) What one is more likely to cause melasma? (Discoloration of the skin, almost like a rash on google .. if necessary) .. and why? (Explain if cannn: P) PLEASE help:) Thanks in advance!
