Depression and melasma?

Has anyone experienced depression have melasma? If so what do you do to help your depression? Melasma is a dark patch of skin and usually be intractable. Please give me advice for my friend who has melasma and it is very depressed.

I think I have malasma on my upper lip is very frustrating, sorry I have no advice for you, just be positive, I'll try some creams to treat it and let you know if I can fix it, so hopefully something works, and I hope to help his friend.
