melasma skin condition
HELP! Need to get rid of dark skin above my lip?
I normally get the upper lip with wax or thread once every two weeks, but last month he had no access to any of these services as I had to resort to rid the hair with one of those silly battery operated micro-machines for the finish (it resembles a pen.) I feel that since then, the skin on my lip is significantly darker (no hair, only the skin ).... and it looks horrible! It seems I have five shade of hair but no. Of course I let my hair grow out and re-thread for the rest of the month, but is the permanent shadow. No contact is any condition, which is not melasma, and I'm not pregnant, so that non-hormonal pregancy related probs. Is there any known topical cream or anything to get rid of this? It is beginning to appear in photos and I am very aware of it. Please give me some tips ...
Cut your hair so you can not change the color of your skin, so something else is happening. Try using a cream with hydroquinone USP 4% bleach. If that fails, you may need to see a dermatologist. Good luck!
