I'm confused I get a chemical peel?
ME and my sister are goin to DERMATOLOGIST TO GET THA a chemical peel. KNO BUT I have fear and if there's better solutions. I have a lot of pimples and scars and I GET THE CHEMISTRY IN MY SKIN NECK CAUSE i HAVE VERY BAD .. But my sister's melasma HAVE MUCH TO DO FOR YEARS AND HAS ACNE scare DO FOR DEPO melasma. PLEASE HELP.
well bare in mind that causes skin discoloration. usually makes it a lighter shade because it is the new skin. Also, the new skin is very delicate and sensitive to heat exposure, so if you decide to go it alone to be careful. also becomes much smoother and brighter.

hyperpigmintation / melasma?
i suffer from hypigmintation / melasma. I have a cream called malerderma that seems to have worked, but Plateau. I will keep using it, but there are treatments such as dermabrasion micro or laser or other treatment instead of a cream? I also use the factor 60 every day (even in winter) to try to stop it recurring. I also try to stay out of the sun as much as possible, but I'm going on vacation to a sunny country next week and will come back ten times paranoid.

Melasma, suddenly, so fast, the birth control pills?
I've been taking my birth control pills (Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo) for 2 days. Recently I developed a rash, and I've seen and seems to be something called "Melasma (or atleast I think it is) .. My question is, do you really Melasma come so fast? Or could it be anything else? I do not think we think, because I never I've had this before in my lifeee, but suddenly, now. And the research I've done this skin problem is commonly caused by hormonal levels until poor state of many birth control pills. And one last question, the rash goes away if I melasma this Birt control pill (Ortho Tri Cyclen ..... What by the way I read on one site was a drug that could cause melasma!) and start a new like. Yaz ..??? (What im interested ... that certainly was not on that list: P) Thanks in advance! 
Melasma can definitely be a side effect of oral contraceptives. Talk to your doctor about switching to another pill, because Melasma is usually only to the extent that the drug causes still ingested. For now, if the stain bothers melasma, a bleaching cream containing Hydroquinone should help the brand to disappear.
