my skin is uneven and I have some melasma. I will participate in a dermotologist for a chemical peel and how much they have cost?

As with IPL, chemical peels have to be administered by a physician, usually a dermatologist. Typically, several treatments will be for a chemical peel to completely get rid of melasma.
The cost of obtaining several chemical peels or intense pulsed light treatments to get rid of melasma can add up quickly. This means that the laser rejuvenation may actually be cheaper than a chemical peel or IPL, with only one treatment is necessary.

I have what I consider minor but annoying melasma on my face I realized that during my last pregnancy. I recently sought help from a dermatologist who prescribed tri-Loma. I've been using for less than a week and have noticed only a small amount of dry scaly skin in the area of application. My doctor says that to use it for 2 months and see where we are. If I still have 2 months after he said nothing would help except laser therapy or freezing areas and peel them off. Has anyone had a similar experience and with what success?

chemical peel?
I have melasma and my dermatologist prescribed me was tri luma and didn `t work for me it seems that the dark spots appeared on my face that I have," so my dermatlogist did a chemical peel on my face and no more on the darker areas now my face feels really tight like cement and it seems this is cracking normal and do you think is going to disappear?
Chemical peels can cause very dry skin and peeling the top layer of skin. All I can recommend moisturize like crazy and eventually soften your skin. Good Luck.

I used a chemical in the skin of the house and I realized after I have these dark patches on the skin. Like melasma. I tried everything to them and chlorine, etc. .. Can chemical peels have carried out the dark spots or have created them? I do not use birthcontrol and I’m not pregnant. There is no reason that I have Melasma. Do you think that is melasma? When the sun rises, it gets dark. I got in my nose, cheeks and upper lip. Do you think if I used again, it would solve the problem? Is there a website that can tell me if the chemical peel done? Please help.
They are talking about then glycolic acid not cause melasma dosent .. could be an allergic reaction to some type of food or something …… glycolic acid peel, making the dead cells to reveal skin cells … could also be the case with acne or spots, or poor hygiene .. I’m not saying you are not the health care ….. Do not use the shell … for some few days or something … Arent you supposed to use chemical peel on the lips …… its acid … CATCH dark if only people try a bleaching cream use product (containing hydroquinone 2%), which is effective in a couple of weeks ….
