Hyperpigmentation of the skin is a common condition that many people experience. Is identified as the darkening of the skin or nails, due to higher levels melanin.
Hyperpigmentation is actually caused by or associated with other conditions such as eczema, irritant contact dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, melasma, and more serious conditions or diseases such as Addison's disease, choasma, Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and acanthosis nigricans. For some, no hyperpigmentation is aesthetically pleasing, while for others it may cause more emotional and psychological problems.
Treatment of hyperpigmentation is seen as a process long. However, the key to treating skin disease is to find the right product and the correct solution. You can try many products on the market and find many of them do not actually treat the disease in the long term. Moreover, finding the right solution also means the correct diagnosis. Some people are unable to treat your skin disease, because I know exactly what is in the first place.
Diagnosis
To obtain a proper diagnosis of hyperpigmentation, visit a qualified dermatologist. He or she will be able to identify the pattern of skin discoloration and determine if you have hyperpigmentation. Some of pigment changes may be associated with internal disease, or may be caused by certain medications.
Thus, in this case, your dermatologist can prescribe the right solution. For example, you may be asked to treat an existing underlying condition or limit / stop your current medication for the treatment hyperpigmentation. Skin cancers and benign lesions can also be detected, and as part of treatment for hyperpigmentation, must be eliminated.
Treatment
One of the main causes of hyperpigmentation is sun exposure. Sometimes the skin can get very sensitive when exposed to sunlight, and even can irritate or severely damaged. Hyperpigmentation is related to many types of skin irritation and damage, and UV rays should be avoided at all times. The application of skin protection such as sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher so they can treat hyperpigmentation.
Other options on the treatment of hyperpigmentation are dermabrasion, laser treatment and chemical peels. These treatments can be very effective, however, risks also come with them. Risks include burns, discoloration, irritation and skin sensitivity. They can also be expensive and may require subject treatment for more than one session.
A safer alternative and more affordable for dermabrasion, laser treatment and peels chemicals is the use of a product that can be applied at home. An example of this type of product is ZENMED Scar and Hyperpigmentation of the system.
Products this system does not contain perfumes or artificial colors and so soft enough for your skin. Containing powerful ingredients like hydroquinone to treat diseases Skin stubborn, but that are natural and work so well with your skin. Products like the scar and hyperpigmentation of the system are also desirable because they are doctor-formulated, well researched, and adhere to the guidelines on the manufacture of FDA and GMP requirements.

Suffering from skin diseases unwanted can be quite difficult, because the skin is the most visible organ in the body. There are several treatment options to help eliminate the problem, some of which are considered minimally invasive and others which are more invasive. Always a good idea to explore the options available before committing to a treatment.
For some women, who suffer from melasma is a fact of life, especially during pregnancy. The skin disorder may be the inheritance and / or linked to the production of hormones, which are particularly active during pregnancy. The skin condition can also affect non-pregnant women, and yet men too. There are a number of ways to seek treatment, and finding a dermatologist that you trust is a great way to start the treatment. There are a number of different treatment options and those include the elimination of problem areas slowly with creams and gels, facial chemical peels, laser resurfacing, and other newer technologies. Some of the technologies that are affecting the stage of skin care is the treatment of FotoFacial IPL involves using intense pulsed light which helps lighten the skin. This leads to lighten the skin gradually and usually affects more than one treatment.
Most of treatments for melasma involve minimally invasive treatments that offer a more gradual result. Melasma is considered a harmless side effect but potentially unpleasant hormonal changes. It may be exasperated by prolonged sun exposure and during certain hormonal changes. It is by no means merely a symptom of pregnant women. Men and nonpregnant women may acquire skin condition. It is most often hereditary so if you are diagnosed with a family member, may be lit to a relative. The condition is also spontaneous in their ability to explode and disappear on their own volition. The treatments are not necessarily permanent and some patients have to have repeated treatments if they wish to have it removed in time.
There are benefits and risks associated with treatment melasma and some may find it better to just cover the marks with cosmetics instead of seeking effective treatment. Some more of the acids and lightening creams skin as hydroquinone are effective in removing the marks, but may require regular use and this use can have an adverse effect on the skin. Therefore, is always a great idea for finding information about the treatment option in question. Forget everything you've heard about skin treatments with laser. I'm about to tell the truth about laser treatments and everything you need to know about the incredible technology available today. As a cosmetic dermatologist often recommend laser treatments for acne scars, blemishes of aging, melasma (the mask of pregnancy), large pores, fine wrinkles, sun damage and sagging skin. As a result, I have heard concerns the safety of laser treatments and the risks involved.
Fraxel Laser preserving the surface of the skin, leaving it intact. Fraxel targets damaged tissues below the surface to remove sun-damaged collagen and pigment cells. The healthy tissue remains intact, so healthy stem cells can create new collagen and elastic tissue in days. That is, in fact seeking new dermis and epidermis, in a matter of two to three days.
Because Fraxel treatments promote the renewal and replacement of collagen, also notice the skin thicker and more creating a more youthful look. This treatment can effectively remove damaged skin on your face, neck, chest, arms and hands. The FDA considers the Fraxel enough soft to be used in their eyes, to the lash line. Fraxel also improves the tone and skin texture, reduces pore size, eliminate dark spots unwanted, and smooths wrinkles. And, because there is no interruption of the skin surface can immediately return to normal activities.
In fact, customers experience only mild discomfort during treatment with Fraxel Laser – A sensation of heat. A potent topical anesthetic is applied before treatment, and customers can use a cooler of fresh air to direct any uncomfortable area. Then, cold compresses are recommended to alleviate any sense heat after treatment.
I always like talking to customers who are determined to stay informed and aware of what he refers to his health and safety. Be sure to ask the right questions when considering a laser treatment. For example, many spas and doctors say offer a fractionation laser. However, only a true Fraxel can be individualized to the needs of each client, and deliver insurance and uniforms.
Make sure you are getting a safe treatment to the state of the art technology operated by a professionally trained and experienced. A board certified dermatologist to understand the needs of your skin and suggest the best treatment. Do not be afraid to ask for references. An experienced physician will have plenty of customers who are willing to give their testimonies.

hydroquinone melasma
Posted by admin in Treatment For Melasma on August 29th, 2009
In the first part of this article we learn why it is so popular hydroquinone as a skin whitening agent. In this part we will learn more about Hydroquinone.
How To Use Hydroquinone?
First, you must perform an allergy test with Hydroquinone on a small spot on the skin and the reactions. If you find no reactions, continue using it. For actual use, wash the spot thoroughly and apply small amount of cream and rub well. Avoid application on normal skin, otherwise it may lighten the skin as well. Wash your hands after application. Use any type of cosmetics on skin rather than once the cream to dry completely. Protect yourself from the sun.
Some people develop skin reactions and allergies known as irritant contact dermatitis and allergic dermatitis contact. These can cause redness and itching of the skin. If this happens, you should consult your doctor immediately and stop using hydroquinone. Avoid using cream or topical formulations in the same place in particular any product containing any peroxides. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or lactating.
Hydroquinone and skin discoloration
Hydroquinone is one of the most popular skin bleaching agents. It is widely used for removing skin spots, melasma, scar colors, etc. Hydroquinone removes the skin color in excess of two ways: It stops the production of more melanin (the pigment of skin color) and the
decomposes melanin, the existing excess on the spot to try.
Before trying to understand how hydroquinone or skin whitening works, you should know about skin color and how excess color is formed. The skin gets its color due to a pigment called melanin. Melanin also gives color to hair. When more melanin in a particular part of the skin caused by a scar or sun exposure, that part of the skin darkens the formation of a field. You want to eliminate this field by bleaching.
Hydroquinone removes excess melanin, the place and stops the production of melanin in the place. Hydroquinone formulations have to be used with care. Overzealous use may lighten the ground compared to surrounding skin. If hydroquinone does not give good results within a month, consult your doctor. Acid Kojic is another bleaching agent that can be suggested by your doctor.

lightening melasma
Posted by admin in Treatment For Melasma on August 14th, 2009
The melasma is a darkening of facial skin. Melasma is particularly common in women, especially pregnant women. Melasma is one of the areas exposed Sun acquired. The symptoms of melasma are dark, irregular patches commonly found in the upper cheek, nose, lips, upperlip, and forehead. These patches often develop gradually over time. Melasma does not cause any other symptoms beyond the cosmetic discoloration. Melasma is an acquired hypermelanosis sun-exposed areas.
Melasma is most often defined by patches of uneven dark skin on the face. These brown spots tend to appear on the lips, forehead or cheeks. Some causes of melasma could include genetics, oral contraceptives, hormonal changes, and excessive exposure to sunlight, but doctors can not fully identify why they occur. And although it's a very standard cosmetic skin affliction, not unanimously accepted reason laying show is considered very difficult to treat.
Some treatments can be tried to lighten skin. It is best to have a cream prescribed by a doctor and some of which can be purchased containing varying amounts of the constituents. The usual active ingredient in whitening creams called hydroquinone (see below), but must be used with caution as it can sometimes lead to further darkening of the skin that is truly permanent.
Getting Rid of Melasma The most common to get rid of spots applies for melasma skin whitening or skin bleaching creams. What do they really know about these bleaching agents? Many people consider treatment of the description 'melasma cream' on the label and freely suppress the skin in a cream that you know nothing.
Apply the whitening cream first and then the sunscreen creams contain hydroquinone top.Bleaching, which inhibits the formation of new pigment. Bleaching creams take 3 to 6 months for relief penalty pigmentation.Stop daily bleaching cream after six months. Tretinoin always causes some degree of pink and peeling skin of the face that can be controlled by a little since then to build. It may fade freckles, improve acne and smooth wrinkles.
Ultraviolet light treatment can sometimes stimulate pigmentation of the skin to be made in the skin again. However, it can sometimes burn the pale skin and if it fails, the tan skin color around dark and pale skin is so pale that can make areas of vitiligo most obvious. The new excimer laser treatment (which is not available in the NHS) can give ultraviolet light treatment that is better targeted to the pale skin only.
Melasma Prevention This seems like a fast technique and safe, but the truth is that these chemicals do much damage inside. When someone goes to the beach or playing outdoors after application of bleaching agents skin, UV rays emitted by the sun will react with the substances and changes in pigmentation increases and the early onset of fine lines. With the changes increase pigmentation, people become a little tense and apply more cream, it becomes a never ending cycle.

Glyquin XM a topical cream containing hydroquinone as active ingredient. The product is designed to reduce the darkening of the skin and clarify the freckles, melasma, Age spots and age spots. This is a prescription medication that can only be administered in a doctor's advice because it works as a treatment for pigmentation only. Claims that can be used as an anti-wrinkle agent are only rumors. While dealing with sunscreen SPF 15, the drug can still cause hypersensitivity to sunlight, especially with prolonged exposure.
Glyquin XM formulation contains 40 mg of hydroquinone. This substance has been found for adverse effects from mild to severe. These include allergic reactions such as skin irritation, swelling and difficulty breathing.
Certain limitations to using the cream are also present. Hydroquinone topical creams can worsen windburns, burns, skin dryness, cracking and irritation. Some products can also cause skin irritation and skin hardness when used in conjunction with the cream, soaps and forcefulness, cleaning of the skin, chemical hair dyes, waxes and hair removal products, shampoo, astringent, alcohol and lime. Use with other medicinal products for the skin can also cause skin damage.
Glyquin XM is not recommended for use by patients with liver and kidney disease. The high dose of hydroquinone in the cream may be harmful for your health. It is also contraindicated for pregnant and nursing women and people with allergies to medication.
It is also important to note that this cream is designed for short term use. It can only be applied in the affected areas and not the entire skin. While using the product, consumers may experience sensitivity to high temperatures or extreme cold.
Although there are no interactions between Glyquin XM and other orally ingested or injected medicines have been documented, it is always advisable to consult a doctor as to which drugs can be taken with the product. Some medicines may interact with each other, either positively or negatively. That's why users should be aware of the prescription, nonprescription drugs, vitamins and other medications taken while using Glyquin XM.
