Age spots, age spots, sun spots, no matter what you call them can be unpleasant and annoying. The following are the most common types the spots on the skin, along with possible treatments to eliminate or reduce their appearance.
age spots – in fact have nothing to do with aging, are about the amount of exposure they have had sun. Also referred to as age spots but they have nothing to do with the liver! In fact, it should be called “Sunspots.” They are flat, brown areas, also known as solar lentigines, which typically occur on the hands, back and face. The use of a topical retinoid often in connection with money-cream and a mild topical steroid may gradually fade age point. Home remedies like lemon juice also clarify brown spots but keep in mind that lemon juice is photosensitive to avoid sun exposure.
Melasma or chloasma, also known as the “mask of pregnancy” is solid or brown spots on the skin. They are common in pregnant women, those on drug therapy and hormone replacement pads contraceptive. The hormones stimulate the production of pigment-producing cells in the skin so Melasma and when exposed to sunlight causing overproduction of melanin staining is more evident. These dark spots appear on the cheeks, nose, forehead or upper lip. Melasma may worsen overtime and often is a concern cosmetic and benign. Treatments include azelaic acid, tretinoin, topical creams such as hydroquinone and chemical peels. Although I avoid if pregnant the use of these types of treatments.
Cherry angiomas – are groups of dilated capillaries on the surface of the skin. These small, smooth, cherry red spots are commonly in the torso, ranging from the size of a pinhead to 1 / 4 inches wide. Capillary hemangiomas can occur at any time in your life, however, are more common after age 40. They are usually painless and harmless, but because of cosmetic reasons people prefer to have them removed. Large angiomas can bleed profusely and thus it is good to them professionally removed. However, the topical application of sandalwood and basil leaves can reduce the appearance of cherry angiomas.
seborrheic keratoses – is one of the most common types of skin tumors in noncancerous (benign) in older adults. Most people will develop at least one seborrheic keratosis at some point in their lives. These brown, black or white waxy growths, like dripping in the skin by a candle. Often appear on the face, chest, shoulders and back, often in multiples. They range from 1 / 4 inch to 1 inch wide. Can be removed with a surgical procedure simple or with liquid nitrogen. If these points is black or begins to itch or bleed after medical attention is needed to rule out any time of cancer skin. Also, if many rapidly developing SK see a dermatologist as this may indicate a health problem serosa.
Skin tags – but not really a field, skin tags are soft, flesh-colored growths that protrude from the skin. Although skin tags need no medical care, as they are usually benign, are more annoying because of aesthetic reasons. In addition, clothing may cause irritation. Liquid nitrogen in wart remover can remove Small tags of skin. In addition small marks on the skin can be literally cut but care must be taken to ensure that your clippers are sterilized. While this may sound really painful that feels like a pinch.
Although the skin spots are usually harmless, any point on the skin that changes color, outline changes, itches or bleeds and does not heal should be checked by a dermatologist. Better still consider getting a skin check with your annual physical.

Hyperpigmentation is actually caused by or associated with other conditions such as eczema, irritant contact dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, melasma, and more serious conditions or diseases such as Addison's disease, choasma, Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and acanthosis nigricans. For some, no hyperpigmentation is aesthetically pleasing, while for others it may cause more emotional and psychological problems.
Treatment of hyperpigmentation is seen as a process long. However, the key to treating skin disease is to find the right product and the correct solution. You can try many products on the market and find many of them do not actually treat the disease in the long term. Moreover, finding the right solution also means the correct diagnosis. Some people are unable to treat your skin disease, because I know exactly what is in the first place.
Diagnosis
To obtain a proper diagnosis of hyperpigmentation, visit a qualified dermatologist. He or she will be able to identify the pattern of skin discoloration and determine if you have hyperpigmentation. Some of pigment changes may be associated with internal disease, or may be caused by certain medications.
Thus, in this case, your dermatologist can prescribe the right solution. For example, you may be asked to treat an existing underlying condition or limit / stop your current medication for the treatment hyperpigmentation. Skin cancers and benign lesions can also be detected, and as part of treatment for hyperpigmentation, must be eliminated.
Treatment
One of the main causes of hyperpigmentation is sun exposure. Sometimes the skin can get very sensitive when exposed to sunlight, and even can irritate or severely damaged. Hyperpigmentation is related to many types of skin irritation and damage, and UV rays should be avoided at all times. The application of skin protection such as sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher so they can treat hyperpigmentation.
Other options on the treatment of hyperpigmentation are dermabrasion, laser treatment and chemical peels. These treatments can be very effective, however, risks also come with them. Risks include burns, discoloration, irritation and skin sensitivity. They can also be expensive and may require subject treatment for more than one session.
A safer alternative and more affordable for dermabrasion, laser treatment and peels chemicals is the use of a product that can be applied at home. An example of this type of product is ZENMED Scar and Hyperpigmentation of the system.

PLS can anyone tell me whether it works in Meladerm Melasma, or not?
I had melasma (brown on the face maks) for 3 years. I have tried different types of products that claim to work on my notes, but did not. Now that I have heard of successful product called Meladerm, which do not contain harmful substances, such as hydroquinone, etc. Does anyone know if this really works or not BCZ examinations were giving different opinions. Do you know any other product that works on melasma? Thanks
Of course it will be different opinions. Everyone the products work differently for each. Even something like Tylenol does not work for everyone. It is best to simply try and see how it works for you. I know some people who have used Meladerm and say that works pretty well. But if you
